Discipleship Bible School
Discover God’s story from
Genesis to Revelation
Dig deeper into the Bible and learn from, and about, the book in which God reveals himself to us
Watch the Bible come alive through teaching, reading and discussing the Word. In 12 weeks you will read the whole Bible, learn about the historical, geographical and cultural background of each book and discover some of the main characters and themes. See how the Old and New Testament are connected and how God’s redemptive plan for humanity is a red thread through it all.
Come and get a deeper foundation in the Word of God and learn more about His Nature and Character.
Schedule
Some of the things that will happen during the week:
Teaching
Each week you will be learning about the books in the Bible and some of the main themes. There will be teachers from around the world, some on the base and some on Zoom.
Worship
During the week there will be times of worship where you can praise and glorify God together with others.
Intercession
There will be intercession planned in the schedule. These are moments when you get to pray together about a topic that is on God’s heart.
Small Group
Every day you will gather in small groups and read the Bible together. This is also a time where you can ask questions and discuss what is being read.
Homework
To help you process and apply what you have learnt during the week there will be some assignments to hand in.
….Don’t worry, it’s all about applying the information you’ve gathered!
Bible Study
Every week there will be time for a Bible Study in the small groups. This is a time to go deeper into a passage in an inductive way and interpret the text from the eyes of the Original Audience.
Bible Overview Presentation
At the end of the school, each student will give a presentation of the Bible from Genesis to Revelation.
To help you prepare, some of the homework each week is to make a timeline and a summary that you can use to make your final presentation.
