17-28 November 2014
Youth With A Mission bases are taking advantage of video conferencing systems as a way of running operations and bringing world class speakers to training classrooms around the world. A ten day seminar will be held at our Dalarna campus in Sweden where attendees will learn the skill involved in operating this technology and setting up a video conferencing system. You don’t have to have a lot of IT skills, as we will help you with the basics and you will get to know how to ask the geeks to help you. We encourage YWAM centres to have 2-3 operators crossed trained. You will leave this seminar knowing how to run, fix, set up your classrooms, offices and board rooms.
The GENESIS Seminar
We continue to see new locations come online in the GENESIS Network around the world. The Seminar is a great opportunity to those who consider joining this global network.
Who is the Seminar for?
The GENESIS Seminar is designed to equip and inspire participants in the integration and application of GENESIS at a location. The seminar will be an intensive time of learning the vision, history and concept of GENESIS, how it serves to multiply UofN resources, building bridges to create a global classroom where a multitude of events can take place. Some areas where GENESIS is actively used include, DTS teaching weeks, community meetings, worship events, intercession, leadership and board meetings, as well as family reunions 🙂
Key people to be involved in facilitating GENESIS at a base would be school leaders, base leadership and those involved in multiplication of ministry.
Educational principles are integrated in the learning. Hands-on workshop style sessions will equip the participants to facilitate GENESIS in the schools you run, organise events and do required setup and operation of equipment. We will have an emphasis on understanding trans-cultural dynamics together with team work to help facilitate the global reach of YWAM’s rapidly growing ministry around the world.
