YWAM Dalarna was established in 2003 and is located in both Stora Skedvi (near Säter and Hedemora) and in the city of Borlänge.
Our first property was a house called ‘Torpet’, about 2km from the village of Stora Skedvi, overlooking the Dal River (Dalälven).
Though “Torpet” means “the little summer cottage” it is a pretty large house (180 sq.m.) and used mostly for housing staff and guests. It also has a small office for our administration..
Our latest facility is in the Borlänge suburb of Kvarnsveden and is a former Pentacostal church. 15 years ago the congregration merged with the central Pentacostal church in Borlänge and late in 2009 YWAM was asked to consider taking over the church property Kvarnsveden (at very reasonable terms). In April 2010 we took possession of this wonderful facility and our DTS students and classroom are housed here. We are currently bulding offices and making small modifications to suit our current and future needs.
